This is the beginning of Something Beautiful…We Invite You To Be A Part of It?

“Everybody Needs a Helping Hand Up at Some Point in Life. Today, We Ask You to Be That Lifeline for Us.”

Hello, everyone,

We are Organic Yellow Yolk Farm and we aim to create a life-changing project in Bujuko on Mityana Road, Uganda.

We are starting up a community-driven, organic, and regenerative chicken farm, right here on this land.

This farm isn’t just about organic farming—it’s about transforming lives, empowering the local community, and taking care of Mother Earth.

It’s a natural, regenerative, and community-focused chicken farm.right here at a place called Bujuko in Uganda!

It’s going to be a place where nature and community work together. It’s about giving families hope, providing sustainable livelihoods, and creating something long-lasting.

We are seeking funding as a seed in order to fully kickstart this transformative project.

Updates on the ongoing farm development will be loaded here as the funds come in and are put to use.

The Organic Yellow Yolk Farm Commitment to You

In 6 months, after launch, Organic Yellow Yolk Farm will start generating income from sale of organic eggs-A truly thriving organic egg market that already exists locally and with neighbouring countries!

After 18 months, the farm will be fully sustainable and autonomous. At this point, Brian and team will invite all our funders for a special visit to this beautiful, lush farm.

They will get a free one-night stay with meals included. It will be a small way to show our immense gratitude.

Why Seek Funding:

1. Empowering the local community in Bujuko:

At Organic Yellow Yolk Farm, we will hire and train locals. We especially also aim to hire single and stay-at-home moms. These women often support their families

We will train people in organic, regenerative and sustainable farming.

This will give our community members a path to a better, more secure future. This initiative isn’t just about creating jobs. It’s about empowering people and strengthening a community.

2. Preserving and Promoting Indigenous Chicken Breeds

Our farm will be home to healthy, organic, and delicious indigenous chicken breeds.

Preserving these breeds supports local agriculture and food security. We will protect these breeds.

We will use only organic methods. This will raise the chickens in the healthiest, most natural way.

3. Championing Organic and Regenerative Farming:

As part of the regenerative farming, we will grow Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae,Duckweed and Azolla-aquatic plants and together, they will provide sustainable, organic protein for the chickens.

This method boosts the farm’s ecosystem. It also creates a cycle of regeneration that benefits the environment.

4. Growing a Natural Herb, Fruit, and Vegetable Garden

From the chicken and BSF waste , we will develop a thriving organic garden that grows fruits, vegetables, and medicinal herbs.

The garden will use nutrient-rich chicken manure and BSF larvae waste as fertilizer.

These herbs from the garden will help keep the chickens healthy and prevent disease without using chemicals.

This garden will create a sustainable, circular ecosystem. It will feed the farm and the community.

It’s an example of how we can work in harmony with nature to create a healthier, more balanced environment.

5. Promoting Agro-Tourism and Cultural Exchange

After 18 months, we plan to open the farm to international visitors and organic food fans.

Our donors will be given a special one-night stay with meals as a give-back gesture and token of goodwill.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the lush, serene surroundings. They can learn about organic farming with chicken and meet the warm, friendly locals who make it all possible. It’s not just a farm—it’s a space for cultural exchange and learning.

Where Your Money Will Go

The raised funds will power a sustainable, community-focused organic chicken farm to be fully functional and autonomous.

Six months after the official launch, the farm will start to get income and be well on the path to make it on its own. This is because there will be eggs and chicken for sale.

Here’s how the funds will be allocated:

1. Construction of Specialised Infrastructure and Facilities :

(a) Building the first two large custom chicken coops from sustainable materials.

We aim to collect all chicken droppings on spot and have them as feed for BSF larvae and dried for further use as organic manure

(b) Installing a bulk fermenting system for chicken feed production.(Carbohydrates)

(c)Build storage for feed for fermented cereal (Carbohydrates for the Chicken)

(d) Building a Black Soldier Fly Maggot (Protein)Production Unit. This will provide Proteins for the chicken.

(e)Construction of staff -living area.

2. Fencing, Land Preparation, and Drainage (£12,500):

(a) Security fencing for entire the 3-acre land.

(b) Drainage installation & Leveling of the land to protect the farm’s sustainability.

3. Underground Water Pumping and Waste Management Systems :

(a)Pumping water from underground springs to nourish the farm.

(b) Installing a waste management system to produce organic fertilizer and biogas.

4. Sourcing and Stocking Indigenous Chickens

5. Initial stock of Cereal for fermentation for 6 Months

6. Staff Wages and Training for 6 Months :

-Hiring and training local workers including single mothers.

After 6-7 months(from launch),the farm will be able to pay the wages as well as the overall running costs.

Why Your Support Matters:

This project will build an organic ,regenerative chicken farm. It will inspire other communities to adopt sustainable practices.

This will create a positive ripple effect that will spark interest and further tapping of the opportunity

Likewise, similar projects in Africa have shown that regenerative farms can transform communities. They offer jobs, skills, and sustainable food.

The £89,500 reflects the true base set-up cost of a regenerative farm that will empower the local community for years to come.
